SJ +Tara were great hosts, from the prompt and positive communication to the cozy, thoughtful details provided in their cottage. The front porch has the best view to watch stars at night and the morning sunrise. Everything was peaceful, comfortable and quiet. Truly a “haven house”.

The Haven was perfect for a multi generational family getaway. The home was very clean and exactly as described. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and other supplies provided. The pool and play room provided hours of entertainment. We also enjoyed the Water Park and Adventure Park. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at Haven. The place was exactly as advertised and impeccably clean. Our favourite spot was the front porch for “happy hour”. Also enjoyed the pool and gym at the Clubhouse which was only a few cottages down (p.s. no need to bring beach/pool towels - in mainfloor closet). The kitchen was very well appointed so just bring groceries and favourite condiments. SJ and Tara were great hosts and very responsive. Will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying at Tara and SJ’s cottage and it did not disappoint! The cottage was even more beautiful than we remembered, easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in. The pools have apparently been resurfaced since last time too. Another great getaway; we’re already planning our next trip back!

Our family had a fabulous time at SJ and Tara’s! The house is cozy, clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed. There were even 2 gaming consoles available — which my kids very much appreciated! The house location is great, just 2 minutes walk from the Tree House (that has the heated pools, billiards, foosball etc). There was even a welcome note and snacks from SJ and Tara, which we all appreciated. We recommend and would definitely stay again!

This beautiful house is in the most perfect location. The house has everything you want, the kitchen is very well equipped and state of the art stove, microwave and coffee machine. It is very cosy and tastefully decorated. I had to work during my stay and the wireless is very powerful. No issues with bandwidth whatsoever. Cultus Lake is a very pittoreske location. I can truly recommend this place.

My wife, 2-year old daughter, and I had a great time at SJ + Tara's Haven at The Cottages at Cultus Lake. From the initial booking request through to the end of our trip, they were extremely responsive, friendly, proactive, and detailed in their communications. We felt well supported and welcomed, coming into their family's vacation home. Everything was straightforward in terms of the logistics before arriving and while we were there. Upon our arrival we found a handwritten welcome note, along with some snacks and bottles of water. The location and the home itself were fantastic - there are great amenities on the property and in the cottage. The Cottages community certainly had a magical feel to it. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. There were board games, wifi, TVs, and a well-appointed kitchen, including an excellent coffee setup. It was our first time away from home in over 20 months and we had a wonderful time. And they super thoughtfully even sent a personalized gift via Amazon for our daughter, which she loved! We certainly would not hesitate to book again with SJ + Tara!

This place is amazing! My family and I had such a great stay at the cottages. Tara and SJ were great host who gave us instructions on everything we needed to check in, access the facilities and check out. I loved how each cottage looks different and has greenery and trees so feel like you are still in nature while in a resort-like community. I would highly recommend staying here! We will be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing hosts. Theyve thought of everything. From an impeccably clean house and fully stocked kitchen (the keurig cups, salt and pepper, and tea were especially appreciated) to the welcome card and snacks/water in the fridge to greet us. We came with our 6 and 3 year old and this complex was a dream. The two pools, hot tubs, gym, playgrounds and safe streets for riding bikes… what an amazing gem SJ and Tara have created. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
